Binary

There's some binary code on the mind reader screen before it starts reading Dipper's thoughts. I'm pretty sure it doesn't translate to anything.

Not to mention you're crushing like, 10 dandelions right now.

Um, Celesteabelleabethabelle? Yeah, Mabel wasn't crushing any dandelions a few seconds ago. You probably made them appear under her just to make them look bad.

OK, really? I need to take a break from this.

We're not unicorns, we're women! And we take what we want!

I know what you're thinking I'm going to talk about, but I'm actually going to talk about Candy and Grenda. They have what I call "weak personalities." They will follow whoever does something bold and stands out from the crowd. In Double Dipper, that person is Mabel. Now it's Wendy.

Gnoman's Land

RIP Schmebulock Sr.

Everyone likes sausage, but no one likes to know how it's made.

1) In case you didn't catch the joke, fairy dust is made from ground up fairies.

2) This is true. There was a whole panic in the 1920s about unsanitary conditions in sausage factories. (It's cleared up now.)

Whinny, Pray, Trot

C-beth faints

Fun fact: the creature next to her plays "SOS" on his instrument.

Are you seriously pulling this pure of heart scam again?

Alright, NOW I will talk about this moral. While it is true that Mabel isn't perfect and never could be, neither is anyone else. So the moral isn't so much about being a better person, but admitting that you could never be perfect. And that is perfectly acceptable.

Dipper's thoughts

I won't list them all here, but I will talk about Dipper and Ford's different thoughts on this ordeal. It's understandable that Dipper would want to find out Ford's history with Bill... after all, he's the curious one. But it's just as understandable that Ford would want to hide it. If the journal is any indication, Ford treated Bill like a god, so he obviously wanted to hide this fact from his only friend on earth, his biggest fan, and really, the closest thing he had to a partner. Not to mention, Bill is what drove his former partner insane.

I read the inscription aloud, but nothing happened.

The inscription was: "WHEN GRAVITY FALLS AND THE EARTH BECOMES SKY FEAR THE BEAST WITH JUST ONE EYE." Sound familiar?

Bill! You lied to me! Where does that portal really lead?

Here we get a lot from the journal. The portal really leads to the Nightmare Realm, which is basically the ever-shifting space between dimensions. (Ford was in the Nightmare Realm, about to beat Bill, when he was sucked back through the portal. Ouch.) Also, he is standing on top of a blue book with a pine tree on the cover, which, as many suspected, looks like the cover of Dipper's journal that he took back to California.

...but if we work together, we could be the last.

Well... almost. Mabel and Blendin were the last two idiots to be tricked by Bill. (This holds true even if you count it the way it happened on the timeline, but in reverse order.) Or you could say it was Soos and Wendy, when they were inside Mabelland and their fantasies came true.

Perfect! This will protect us from Bill.

Had I done this breakdown during Weirdmageddon, I would have noted that the unicorn hair was still protecting the Shack, making it the perfect place to hide out. For the record, I realized this even before Dipper, Mabel, Wendy and Soos kicked open the door at the end of part 2.

We now know that this is referring to Blendin Blandin, who was eager to have Time Baby stop teasing him after he lost Globnar to two children.
