Bipper's lines

Apparently, the characters hear Dipper's voice, similar to Carpet Diem.

Glove Story: A Sock Opera by Mabel Pines

Oh, I'll hold my horses. I'll hold them...you monster.

Bill thinks Grenda is a monster. Could this mean she could help defeat him?

Our intermission has begun! Mill about!

Seriously?

When Dipper is doing the puppet show after intermission. Two things. First, why does Dipper crouch down? Doesn't he realize that he's a ghost, and can stand as tall as he wants without being seen? Second, you may not have noticed two men in the audience with their faces hidden in the playbills. They are Powers and Trigger. It seems they are watching Dipper. Hmmm...sound familiar?

Who would sacrifice everything they've worked for just for their dumb sibling?

At this point, I was thinking "Dipper would." And while I'm on the subject, usually in TV shows you have to expect the unexpected. But in Gravity Falls you have to expect the unexpected for a TV show...which means expecting the expected. Which is why I was not surprised by the ending of this episode at all.

Also, Douglas MacKrell gave a very interesting theory centered on this quote. He said that Bill has a sibling, possibly a twin. And he managed to convince me. I now believe in Bill's twin. Vailskibum94 expanded on this by saying that Time Baby is Bill's sibling. That part, I'm not 100% sure of, but it still seems plausible. Either way, I think that Bill's sibling is good, or at the very least against him. It's possible that we saw one Cipher sibling in Dreamscaperers and the other in Sock Opera. This is still a vague theory that I hope to have more on soon.

Whoa! Children fighting! I can sell this.

Stan obviously knows who the "evil triangle" is; he's just bluffing. But, why does the rest of the crowd not see it?

I'm a being of pure energy with no weaknesses!

First, Bill is alluding to the cryptogram earlier in the episode, "Pure energy, not skin and bone, rising like the Shepard tone." Click here to learn more about that. Second, it's obvious that he has some weaknesses. For example, he cannot exist in the real world without some kind of body or vessel.

Bipper's body shuts down

It seemed kind of random, the way this scene was done, but whatever, advance the plot any way you can.

Gabe covers his bee puppet's eyes during the explosion

I might've dodged a bullet there.

No kidding, Mabel. It's a wonder you didn't see that before.

Live action puppet show

It feels like they were struggling to come up with an ending clip for this one. But, it was up to Gravity Falls standards.

We've all had some fun tonight, but let's not forget who the real "puppet masters" are: reptoids who have infiltrated our government. (Key: Cipher)

First, for those who don't know, reptoids are reptile-like aliens. Now, while this could have just been a clever way to slip a political joke past the censors, I think it means that Powers and Trigger are aliens. Alex did specifically talk about, and give several hints to, aliens playing a part in season 2.

No puppet strings can hold me down, so patiently I watch this town. Abnormal soon will be the norm, enjoy the calm before the storm.

This is the message from the end card. As always, it can be decoded using the following ciphers: A1Z26, to Atbash, to Caesar -3. Obviously, this is a message from Bill.
