How come Stan hates Pioneer Day?

I have a theory. I think that because Stan helped write the journals, he knows about the Northwest Cover-Up. So he knows that they are just a bunch of frauds, and the whole holiday is a hoax.

In Gravity Falls it used to be legal to marry woodpeckers. / Trembley

As a town founded by a man who was legally insane, some of Gravity Falls's laws are equally insane. For example, it used to be legal to marry woodpeckers, finders keepers when it comes to property deeds, and a kid can go to adult jail.

We've got a code sepia.

I couldn't find a definition for sepia that makes any sense whatsoever in this context. It's likely this is just police jargon, but who knows?

What are we gonna do next? Steal Thomas Jefferson's ribcage? (ribcages)

Is it a coincidence that Mabel suggested stealing Thomas Jefferson's ribcage, and in the same episode, it's revealed that he was actually two kids standing on each other's shoulders? (See page 2. It was in the Northwest Cover-Up Document.) As hard as it is to say, I think there actually is a coincidence in Gravity Falls.

Ow ow ow. Head rush - background - logging, mining and angry Elmer Fudd?

These three items were in the background in the museum scene behind the angel-lady-statue-painting-thing. I think these were just references to activities that put the West Coast on the map.

Ha! I did that with my mouth!

Just an interesting statement, that Stan could write with his mouth. (Try this one if you like; you won't be able to do it.)
