Stan says the copy machine is good as new, and it does work, but it looks as if it hasn't been used in a while. Now, the machine looks a lot like Dr. Doofenshmirtz's cloning machine in an episode of Phineas and Ferb, but that is likely to be purely coincidental. Back on topic, Stan must have known that he was taking a huge chance on letting the kids possibly discover the copy machine's true nature.
Soos, because you work for free...
First, why would Soos work for free? The best explanation I can think of is that Soos is part of the Pines family. Second, Stan tells Soos that he has to dock his pay in Carpet Diem, but how can this happen when Soos doesn't make anything? Now, according to the wiki, the line is "because you'll work for free..."
Stan-recording device / text me a photo!? / We're doin' something wrong here but I can't quite put my finger on...
Stan is shown to be technology illiterate. But in this episode, he utilizes the recording device to keep Dipper at the ticket stand. It's also interesting that somehow, right after this had happened, Dipper was able to escape to Stan's office to use the copy machine. That seems to be a technical error.
I think we all knew we were lying.
OMM...motivated by money / How would you like $10,000,000? - It's my dream come true!
Old Man McGucket is shown to be motivated by money, in a similar manner to Grunkle Stan. He can apparently smell cash, as he was woken up by it by Pacifica. He says later that winning 10 million dollars is his "dream come true". Maybe McGucket, before he went insane, had a similar personality to Stan's.
Some night huh? - shooting star / Mabel
When Dipper says this line to Tyrone, they see a shooting star. This could be just a way for the writers to get the moment to sink in, or it could be a reference to them, thinking about their sister's advice to just go for it.
Paper Jam Dipper says: "AUUGHWXQHGADSADUH!"
