Who says "the guy" isn't Reggie? And who says he isn't the llama? If Reggie is the one who was beaten up, and he was killed, there's no way Soos could talk with him. I think "the guy" is Reggie. And nobody can agree on who the llama is on Bill Cipher's wheel, so it could just possibly be Reggie. Long shot though.

Dipper had no real reason to prove his manliness by fighting Robbie. By the same logic, he had every reason to fight Rumble. He seems to have really learned from his manotaur training.
