voices are swapped...and nobody noticed...?
It's unusual how nobody notices that Dipper and Mabel's voices are swapped. It's unclear whether the characters hear the voices the audience hears or the voices associated with that character. What I would've done if I were a writer is have the carpet swap people's voices temporarily (to account for the scene at the end of the episode), and then swap the voices back to the correct bodies after a minute (to account for the plot of the episode, where Dipper and Mabel try to dock each other's points.)

How can Stan dock Soos's pay if he works for free? That doesn't make any sense. Unless, as stated before, he only worked the party for free.

Candy could be wanting to get up close and personal with Dipper, especially if one believes the theory that she has a crush on him.
Stan gets rid of the carpet
Stan takes the electron carpet out of the new room for Dipper, and is not seen again for the rest of the episode. (Though, he is heard outside.) Which leads me to wonder: did Stan actually get rid of the carpet? Or did he simply take it to a secret room in the Shack (his lab, perhaps?)
Ahh! Why am I even out here at night? / To get rid of the carpet, maybe? Or because his lair leads outside?
But who stole the capers?
