...you gotta wear this loser shirt all summer! / Where did it come from?

Just a little blurb I noticed. The shirt wasn't there before.

Mabel's new office...already redecorated...

Yeah, she decorated it during the song, but that was after this scene.

Succeeding in management 1983 / July 4, 1982

In the episode "Carpet Diem", the date circled on the calendar is July 4, 1982. A theory is that that was the date of an important event in Stanley's life, possibly his capture and imprisonment by Bill. If Stanley had been running the Shack until then, Stanford wouldn't have known much about it. Then, when Stanley disappeared, Stanford bought the book "Succeeding in Management 1983" so he could succeed in running the Shack. Or, Stanley and Stanford could have made money some other way before then. According to Alex Hirsch's AMA, Grunkle Stan has been practicing the same card trick since 1982 and still can't master it. I believe that after Stanley's disappearance, Stanford tried to make some money as a magician and a vacuum salesman, but to no avail. Finally, he bought the book and used it to start the Shack.

Stan's holding the alarm clock...where did he get it?

Stan loses his fez

Stan's fez falls off his head during the Stan Wrong Song. Gompers the Goat then tries to take it. We don't see the result of this battle, but his fez has a different symbol starting in the next episode. When asked in his AMA, Alex Hirsch said it was a spoiler question. My theory is that the goat took it. This would also seem to be evidence for the theory that Gompers is Bill, as he was trying to steal the fez from Stan. He also tried to steal Dipper's journal, both of which are symbols on his wheel. That would explain why it was a spoiler question.
