Summer Fashion tips for Squirrels
I think this is a reference to Mabel's Guide to Dating and Fashion.
Looks like someone bought their way to the front page.
This reveals that Toby Determined can be bribed. Gideon already bribed him with Shandra Jimenez's phone number. What does that mean for his role in the show?
Mabel drinking OJ
Mabel drinks OJ when she's upset. This could prove to be important someday.
And the pig can look after the house!
the prince
Obviously, this is the same guy we've seen in Tourist Trapped. We don't know much about him, but now we know that he has worked at least two jobs this summer.
Soos, would it be wrong to punch a child?
Stan may be a gruff, selfish old man, but he's not a total monster.
you...you...walking one-dimensional bleach blond valley girl stereotype!
Aside from breaking the fourth wall, this pretty much sums up everything we've seen from Pacifica to this point...and it helps to contrast with Mabel's views at the end of the episode.
Hermanos Brothers
There are three points about this restaurant. First, hermanos translates to brothers, so the place is literally called Brothers Brothers. Second, the sign says abierto, which is Spanish for open. Third, some people see it as a reference to one of the most disgusting fan fictions in Gravity Falls fandom, which I won't even reference by name because it's too gross. But that does prove a point: Alex Hirsch knows what goes on on the internet. So if something explodes and becomes immensely popular, chances are it will be referenced in the show.
I don't know, we'd have to break in and...just kidding, let's break in!
Obviously, Stan is ecstatic about having a good excuse to break in somewhere.
Knock her dead, kid.
If there's one thing we know about Stan, it's that he doesn't express his feelings easily. This simple gesture is somewhat out of character. Now, Stan has shown to care deeply for the twins, and his attachment to them grows throughout the series, but there is something else here. I have a hunch that Stan and the Northwests were enemies even before Mabel showed up. Could it have something to do with the Northwest Cover-Up? And if so, why are the parents not arguing in front of the kids?
Lilliputtians
Obviously, a reference to the Lilliputians from Gulliver's Travels.
the duck
A duck shows up during the Lilliputtian feud. Note that it bears a striking resemblance to Duck-tective.
Pacifica's rich, Mabel. She's cheating at life.
Well said, Dipper. But it still doesn't change the fact that cheating is always wrong.
