Your cousin Reggie is having an engagement party next month.
Now wait a minute. We find out in Fight Fighters that Reggie got into a fight with a teenager. "The guy broke, like, all his arms, all his legs, and...I think killed him or something." I thought at the time it was a long shot to believe that Reggie was the guy who won the fight, but after seeing this picture, I think I was right.
No, he is not there.
Two things. First, my first thought. "Uh oh. That means he's in...the other place." Second, wow. I'm feeling an odd mixture of awe, shock and respect because they got this past the censors.
You're dead!
I did not understand this part. Soos never had lady trouble before. In fact, Mabel's dating quiz declared him to be a "total hunk." It's almost like they invented this problem to create an episode.
Avoid Eye Contact Monthly
The name of the magazine Wendy is reading.
Finally, my prayers to match-make this summer have been answered!
...Wow. Another word that I am shocked they got past the censors.
We're taking you where romance lives and fashion styles die. To the mall!
Two things. First, the funny, yet so true, quote. Then the observation so kindly pointed out to me by Vailskibum94. On the second level of the mall, on the left side, you will see Agents Powers and Trigger!
We'll take our chances.
Again with the inventing a storyline just to have one. Also, Dipper and Mabel have already fought dozens of monsters on-screen, so they shouldn't be worried.
Password
There's a note on Soos' computer saying "Password: FIXINIT1." Now, it could be his computer password, but if so, why would he keep it on his computer? My thought is that it is the password for the laptop. He created it so that Dipper would not be able to access the laptop and unlock the mysteries of Gravity Falls.
Shizenhakka
This translates from Japanese to "spontaneous combustion."
I'm a school girl at school university!
Yet another redundant joke that restates itself. Here is a link to my list of these jokes.
? carved into tree
I just now noticed that. Watch right after the first commercial break.
Binary code
When Giffany is explaining why she is "special", we see binary code on one of the computers. It translates to: "SPACEJAMTWO". The programmer also yells something in Japanese, which translates to "I don't understand!"
No more Columbian nights.
Wow, what happened in Columbia when Stan was arrested? It's been killing me to know...so I tried to guess.
I'll distract her while Dipper and Mabel keep you safe. - Soos, these are children.
Yes, but a) Soos is a man-child, and b) these children have been in a lot more dangerous situations.
Dumpster
Two things. First, Robbie's explosion muffin is on the dumpster. Second, the blindeye symbol is seen on the opposite dumpster. Could it mean that Robbie knows about the secret society in some way?
Keyword
The keyword this time is on a pizza box when Giffany says "And we'll be together...forever." It is "BEARO." I think this key was chosen because Bearo is about as creepy as animatronics and anime combined.
Cryptogram
The cryptogram for this episode says "Anthyding can hadplen." Obviously, it's from the game. As stated above, the keyword is BEARO.
The end card is translated, as usual, with the combined cipher. "Winning hearts by daylight! Possessing robots by moonlight! Her emotional baggage is a real fright! She has the one name Giffany!" This is a reference to Sailor Moon. The picture, interestingly, is of Bear-O.
