Now, I'm not sure if the stories here are real or fake. Stan says he's going to make up the second story, but moments earlier, he throws away the hand from the first and it...crawls?...away.
You watch the movie, you scare the girl, the girl snuggles up next to you, next thing you know you gotta raise a kid, your life falls apart...forget that last part.
A few more hints to Stan's backstory here. My timeline does not show that Stan ever got married, but maybe he was speaking from his brother's experience. We know for a fact that Stan has a brother who had a kid (Mr. Pines).

The cryptogram. The keyword, found in Clay Day, is NONCANON. Noncanon means that a story is not part of the official story for that universe. For Gravity Falls, for example, all episodes, games and books are canon; fanfiction, YouTube secrets videos and the leaked image of McGucket writing the journals are noncanon.
